Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is a powerful tool for understanding your store's performance and customer behavior. It uses a different Measurement ID starting with 'G-' unlike the older Universal Analytics property ID that started with 'UA-'. This guide will help you to connect your Moteefe Store with Google Analytics 4.
Step 1: Access Google analytics settings
From the left-hand navigation menu on your Moteefe Store dashboard, click on 'Google Analytics'. This will lead you to the 'Data Tracking' page.
Step 2: Enter your GA4 measurement ID
Locate the field that says 'Paste your “G-” ID here', and input your GA4 Measurement ID. This ID can be found in your GA4 account and starts with the letter 'G-' followed by a series of numbers (e.g., G-XXXXXX).
Step 3: Save your changes
After inputting your GA4 Measurement ID, click 'Save' to apply your changes.
Step 4: Publish your settings
To finalize the setup, navigate to the 'Campaigns' page using the left-hand navigation menu, and click on 'Publish Store'. This will ensure your changes take effect, and your store's data begins feeding into your Google Analytics 4 account.
